The Tapwave Zodiac is to launch a week before the Gizmondo, on the 22nd October. Two versions are to be launched in the UK , the Zodiac 1 with 32MB at £269.99 and the Zodiac 2 with 128MB at £329.99.

The new retail model for the UK market will also come with the UK/Euro/US charging kit and the latest Zodiac 1.1 software suite, which includes many new enhancements like background music playback (e.g., listen to music while you play games, view a photo slideshow or read an e-book) and the ability to sync your personal organizer data with Microsoft® Outlook® using Chapura® PocketMirror®.

 
19th Sept: The UK is to see the launch of the Zodiac this autumn. Created by Tapwave the Zodiac has a Palm based operating system, which has been enhanced with a graphic accelerator, analog joypad and stereo sounds for greater game play. Presently two versions are being sold in the USA the Zodiac 1 with 32Mb of RAM at $299, and the Zodiac 2 with 128Mb of RAM at $399. To mark the announcement of the Zodiac coming to the UK, we have created a Tapwave Zodiac Area.
